Magix Movie Edit- Audio but no Video where is the solution?

Sorry, I posted this issue previously in different (wrong) category.

I have the same problem as ToStereo with all the video files as well as pictures.
I can see them on the time line but video does not play, even the demo.
I purchased Movie Edit Pro 16 Plus on March 15 2010.
My old versin of Movie Edit Pro 2004 that I have on the same computer worked (and still works) flowlesly on the same files.
I hope some body from Magix will help.

You may find that MEP16 requires more resources then other Magix products. Depending on your computer and graphics card you may need to upgrade a few things. Have you tried to test it with new short videos instead of loading ones that were made with a different program? I tested mine out with a 10 second video clip and soon found that I had to change some settings in the --FILE, SETTINGS. PROGRAM, AUDIO/VIDEO .
