Hi

Which version of Windows are you trying to install the software on?

Music Studio Deluxe 12 is a very old version of Music Studio released in 2006 and is very unlikely to work with Windows 8 and possibly not with Windows 7 - common problems are CD/DVD drive not recognised, unable to burn a disc and some function of the software not working.

I have windows XP and it wored fine. I also have Magix & deluxe and Samplitude and they all burn from the program. For some reason 12 will not burn. I installed it on windows 7 just to see if it was the program or a bug in the CP, it worked fine. I used the scheduler and it noticed the drive but every time would cop out.

Im upgrading to 7 now an hope it works, although I have samplitude 11, I love 12. I havent messed with the 11 yet. I reinstalled the program severel times and on other hard drives in the PC. Oh youknow what, I went to regedit, and under magix, Studio 12 wasnt listed at all in the registry???? The others were but 12 wasnt???
