Magazines and/or Christmas video ideas?

Since I'm really new to using Magix, I was wondering if there are any magazines that might be good to subscribe to or other areas that I can go to to get ideas.

I'm thinking about making some sort of Christmas video presentation to give to family and friends this year, but I'm not quite sure what to work up. I guess I'm not all that creative as far as video goes yet. Anybody have any suggestions?

I can't really say much about actual paper magazines, but there are a few good resources online. Depends on what exactly you're looking for, but I guess first of all you'd want to be able to understand and master the various features of Movie Edit Pro. Once this is done, the next step is to learn creative editing techniques to actually put the program features to work. I guess you could also get to know the program and learn to understand the features WHILE learning the editing techniques. That's more fun, anyway.
