lost serial number

I purchased my version 4.0 some years ago but have only just got around to trying to use it. I downloaded the disk and all seemed to go well and installed, i didn't try to use it though but i did notice that i didn't need to enter the serial number at that point. I went to use it today but can't find the disc cover anywhere, i think it has permanently gone now.

I hadn't logged in to this online site to register it at this point so is there a way to get a new number or find the old one somehow?

Hi

. . . . I downloaded the disk . . . .

Do you mean downloaded the installer from Magix, or installed from a disc?

If you have lost the disc cover and did not register the software then you need to contact Magix at shop@magix.net.

If you purchased the downloadable installer you should have had an email with the serial number in it and download link.

Do note that if you are trying to install the old version on Windows 10 there may be issues with detecting the USB video converter and your DVD drive.

They want £10 to register a support voucher for my product that i don't even know will work yet. I'll just bin it and avoid this companies products in the future. There is no contact information that i can see to get hold of them by email without buying a voucher.

Did you not see the email contact address in my post?

Support does not last forever - the current version is 9, so RYVT 4 is 5 versions ( 7 years) out of date.

There are very few if any software companies who will support an old version for that many years.
