Loop collections Folder

Acid Pro 8.03, Windows 10 under preferences- Folders- Loop collections folder. No option to change path or indeed anything shown. I don't want the 9gb of loops to be on my system drive. Do I download the content first before I can do anything with this field?

I'd also like to move the loops elsewhere. It seems impossible to do anything with the field.

OK. The field gets filled after installation of the content. NOT editable. In addition the installer offers you the choice of typical or custom installation for each library. If you choose custom you are ignored and installation proceeds to install into whichever location you chose for the very first of the "instruments" . Not ideal since I would ordinarily install a soft synth to my system drive and content to a separate drive. I'm not interested in the soft synths. I'll try and copy the loop content to another folder and then uninstall the whole shebang. BRB

The custom uninstall does not work. I tried to just uncheck the loop content and uninstall the soft synth(s). However the MXSynth folder remained. Because I'm old I decided maybe a reboot was in order (Win98 style). System error! Windows 10 politely informed me that it would have to reboot again. No problem. Then I decided to uninstall everything, which worked fine but left the MXsynth folder behind again. I deleted that by hand and checked under pref-folders, and the field is once again empty which I think is where I'm leaving it for now.

Best to let sleeping dogs lie, I guess!

Copying the loop content first totally works btw. And Acid already has a great file explorer. Not sure why the field was needed at all....
