Locks up on "Carousel" in "Title"

I am trying to build a first sample slideshow. I am trying to add a title to the first slide. Once I have typed the text I want and click on "Carousel" under "Move" under "Title," I get the small blue spining circle that never stops. Locks eveything up. I have to force a shut down. Why?

Try adding the title the other way round - drag the carousel title template from the mediapool on to the timeline then change the text.
