Apparently so.

well now its become apparent that the karaoke feature is not a karaoke feature at all but a sound altering feature as on a hifi with a karaoke feature it simply reduces the mid section of the overall sound so it sounds like a karaoke but is not the type for singing along with, according to the magix help info how odd and misleading huh..

Yes, when the karaoke feature is working, it is simply a form of filtering.

It works better on higher pitched voices than deep, bass voices.  However, even when it does work well, it leaves artifacts, especially from sibilance.

Unfortunately, for myself and perhaps some others, the karaoke feature in MM-15 doesn't even function.

Well since this seems to be a common bug that the karaoke doesn't work, are they at least offering a patch or something to fix it? It's kind of annoying, I mean, we payed for this program, so shouldn't we get functions that work?

You would think so.  But, that's not how MAGIX works.  They do not offer patches or updates for their products.  They simply expect you to purchase the next, newest versions, which may, or may not, work any better.
