When I crop video imported from my digital camcorder, the playback becomes jerky and out of sync with the audio. Can anyone help?

I am using :
Windows Vista 32 bit
Magix Movie Edit Pro 15
HP Pavilion DV9700
AMD Turion 64 Dual Core Processors
4Gb RAM
HDD 1 250Gb
HDD 2 320Gb (Internal)
NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS Graphics Card

Hi,

What kind/format of video is that? What camera does it come from (make/model)?

The video format is mpg, the camcorder is a Sony DCR-SR37E standard definition

Thanks for the additional info. Try this: After importing the video file(s) into the program, right-click on the video track of each object in timeline mode and use the "Create frame table (new)" option.

I hope this helps!

Fantastic! It works!
I thought it may have been where it was storing the temp files, as there is only 84Gb spare. I could do with knowing which one of the paths it is to move it to the second HDD which has 163Gb spare.
