JPG to DVD for TV playback - loss of resolution

I am using Xtremem PhotoStory on CD & DVD Deluxe 8.  I have created a slideshow with high resolution JPG files, however when I write it out to DVD for playing on the TV, I loose resolution.  The edges of objects in the photos have jagged edges, vs. the crisp edges in the jpg files.  Is there any way to get good resolution when writing to a DVD for TV playback?

I am having the exact same problem.  I am using high resolution jpg and the edges are jagged on DVD slideshows.  I selected the highest resolution (720X480) in the advanced options for the encoder.  I had really hoped Extreme PhotoStory on CD and DVD Deluxe 8 would be the program I was looking for.  It does everything exceptionally well and it produces high resolution slideshows in wmf, but not in DVD.  Can anyone offer some help on this problem.  I am using the trial version and I would love to buy this program, but it has to do better on the DVD slideshow resolution.
