Jotform is shrunk on mobile version but ok on main

Encomm wrote on 10/30/2021, 3:40 AM

Hi,

I have used the Jotform widget and successfully put a form on our website but the Mobile version, appears ok on my Xara screen but when published most of the form is hidden and cannot be viewed. The Iframe tool on Jotform was used to put the form on to the website.

Website is encomm.org

Any assistance gratefully received.

Hi

The membership webform displays correctly on an Android based mobile in Chrome.

If you are looking at the website using Safari (iPhone) there have been issues reported with Safari not displaying some jQuery driven website features correctly.

Hi John,

Thanks for your response. I have just checked it on my wife's phone as well and it is the same. Both phones are running Android 6.0 and we do not use Safari. For me the confusing bit is that it seems to work the 'Main' and not the Mobile.

I have added an extra paragraph block in the form, which contains a Space, and for some obscure reason, of which I have no idea, it now seems to be working !

I will monitor it for now and see how it goes.

Totally bemused,

Thanks for the assistance,

Regards,

Brian

I wonder whether this is at least part of the reason for the problem you are seeing? The latest Android version is 11.

Is there any particular reason why you are not running a more up-to-date release?

I have no idea why the phones are on 6. I tried yesterday and both said that updates were up to date, I will look into this more. As it now works, as stated above will continue to monitor. The website probably will be rebuilt over the winter so will try to ensure any changes include your suggestions.

Many thanks and kind regards,

Brian

Hi

. . . . I have no idea why the phones are on 6. . . . .

The phone hardware may not support Android 11 depending on their age, make and model.
