join existing bluray to new project

I am producing a DVD of a long holiday. I have produced part 1 to a bluray disk. Sadly my hard drive died before I could complete the editing. Can I join the existing bluray DVD (part 1) to a new project (part 2) if so How?

Hi,

The files on the BluRay disk are MP4 files (or mts). Find them and copy them to your hard drive and then import those into your project and add what you want.

Thanks for that, if I put those files (M2TS) on the timeline and add more files then create a new bluray video will the quality be degraded in the second Bluray.
