Itunes music file format is Mpeg-4 Audio with the extension .M4A. Acid Pro 8 can't open this unfortunately as it's missing the "QuickTime 7" file filter.

Dear adam-f,

FTech is right. iTunes uses .m4a as audio file format. Unfortunately the development of Quicktime 7 has stopped in 2016, hence there will be no support for this file format in Acid Pro 8.

Best regards,

/Tobi

Hello. I found a work around for iTunes to Acid Pro 8. In iTunes, choose the song>go up to File>Convert>click on Create Wav Version. At that point, a new version comes up in iTunes library (I rename it ...WAV just to keep track). Then drag to Acid.
