ISSUE EXPORT DOCUMENT AS WEBSITE (HTML)

I have Dell Desktop Vostro 470 Windows 10 Pro 64 bits with high configurations.

 

I have a big issue with my Xara Web Designer 18.

 

ISSUE 1

When I try to EXPORT my EXPORT DOCUMENT AS WEBSITE (HTML) the Xara Web Designer crashes and doesn't allow me to export the file.

 

This issue only happens when I try to EXPORT DOCUMENT AS WEBSITE (HTML)

 

 

ISSUE 2

When putting a name on file doesn't allow me to put characters when I'm saving the name of the webpage.

What characters is it not allowing?

Naming of web pages, projects etc should use the allowed Windows characters for file and page naming - the allowed characters are A - Z, a - z, 0 - 9, - (hyphen) and _ (underscore). You should avoid any other characters such as !, $,%,&,* (), characters with accents or diacritcs eg ä, Å, ç, Ç etc.

Spaces are allowed however best practice is to replace them with the hyphen or underscore - decide which you want to use and be consistent in its usage.

I use this characters below and when I click in export document as web document it crash.

This name is too long try using a shorter name for the webpage name aim for less than 32 characters - the above has 63 characters which, after adding in the .html extension, gives 68 characters making the full name exceed the number of characters allowed for a component of the full web address for the page.

Also check that names for images or video embedded in the web page are using the minimum number of characters possible.

Hi,

Thank you for the information.

When I bought this program one year ago it didn't have this issue.

I was using a long name for the webpage and I continued developing my website constantly and never got any issue.

This issue happened to me in November 2021.



My important question is:

Why is this program not allowing more than 32 characters?

My project website requires more than 32 characters for sure.

What should I do to solve this issue?

For me it's pretty important to use more than 32 characters, minimum 68 characters.
