Hi

Xara is not breaking down - a time out can occur for several reasons:

  • the connection to the Internet is blocked eg by your Antivirus/Firewall program.
     
  • the Internet connection is not stable enough for communication to be maintained - this appears to be a common complaint about Starlink
     
  • the server you are trying to upload to is taking a long time to respond.

I apologize. It was entirely my fault: I had somehow transposed the numbers in my FTP address. All good now. Thank you for your reply! (I am however, still having the same issue as per my previous post, re: the v.19 update - if you have any clues about that, I would be grateful !)
