Is there a way to force the detailed Encode/Use window to appear?

I'm using Photostory on a Win7 system.  Several years old, slow, but still functional.

I'm creating an AVCHD with several shows in it.   Most of them have been fine.  I've only tweaked a couple of the shows.  I also know which M2TS files goes with which shows.

Sometimes when I start the encoding / burn process, a small window appears which offers options to Encode All/ Use All / Use / Encode  [probably not in that order].  Is there a way to force (trick) the system into displaying that menu when it doesn't show it?

Object is to reduce redundant encoding time.

Hi

The Encode All/ Use All / Use / Encode window only appears when you have already rendered/burned the project and cannot be forced to appear.

For the first render there are no files to be re-encoded so the window will not appear..

If you know which MTS is which then you can tell Photostory to reuse the currently rendered one - however if you have made changes to one of the shows and do not re-encode it the new changes will not appear..

I had been using a R/W disc while trying to fine tune the project.

Finally got down to just a couple of shows that needed tweaked.  At that point, I saved Old Project as Bad Project, ddleted the good shows from it, and focused on the problems.  Once those were OK, Burned to same R/W disc.  The went to Disc Images, found the m2ts files, renamed them to conform with Old Project and replaced the originals with the tweaked m2ts files.  FInally used Speed Burner to create a new "perfect" AVCHD project.  Ran find on BD player with our HD TV.  Tried to essentially do the same thing again with a +R disc and could never get anything but a DATA disc.

At that point, I loaded the the Old Project, which by now had the repaired shows on it, and tried burning to +R disc.  It skipped the Use \ Encode dialog and started in.  14 hours later, it's still encoding, this time to \Disc Images \  Private \ AVCHD \ BDMV \ Stream.  No reference even to the Project File Name.  Previously, the m2ts files were being created under the same \Disc Images\ folder, but subfolder was \AVCHD Image + Project name\.  Does it sound like I'm perplexed?  I have no trouble renameing files and moving them around, don't even mind too much putting up with the time it takes to re-encode a show, but it gets really annoying when it has to re-encode the entire thing.

Once I have an apparently good set of folders & files for a project in \Disc Image\ will Speed Burner create a DVD as AVCHD.  I tried about three times last night on R+ discs and TV kept telling me "Data Disc".  I got tired of throwing them in waste basket and quit.
