Well, recently I've bought MM collection 17.
When I import the soundpools via ''Add styles'', it loads most of the styles in the styles-list but excludes 3 of them.
It does load them in the list, but after you've added it you don't get to see them in the list at all....
So I've been thinking, is there a limit of soundpool styles?
I use MMM16 (the ones not being listed or loaded are Breakbeat vol.1, Jazz vol.1, Dubstep vol.1)

In my experience so far there is no limit.
Please follow exactly described here and your problem should be solved. I wonder if you use Windows 7? any way.
First copy the MM 17 contents you purchsed in MY MUSIC folder on your computer(remember where you copy).
Now open MMM 16 easy mode should be turned off refer screen shot below
On compter keyboard type "Y" program settings window will be opened, under General look at right side below and locate Use the Installed Soundpool even after reset and UN CHECK it as in screen shot
then click on Reset Soundpool click OK, it will clear all soundpool do not worry. After this use click on Add styles browse MMM 16 Basic folder click on that and OK all of your MMM 16 soundpool should be added in the Library.
Please re start compter at this stage.
Open MMM 16 use Add styles and browse your My Music folder where you have MM 17 collection copied in the beginning right? add it and without problem all styles should be added in the library(soundpools)

I've tried what you've said. I've even put all the styles in the file 'Basics_16'. However it still doesn't recognize just 'those' 3 styles.
And yeah, I am using Windows 7....
To sum up what I've exactly done is.
step 1 > Put Styles in 'Basic_16'
step 2> Y
step 3> Reset soundpool (followed your unticking box instruction)
step 4> Added styles via ''Add styles'' (which loads ALL of the styles)
step 5> All styles in libary except 3
step 6> even restarted computer

I've finally solved it. (So there's no need to reply.)
I loaded the styles in a different MMM, namely MMM Silver edition.
It worked perfectly...
So after that, when I opened MMM 16, for some reason it automatically worked!
With all the styles list in the library....
Weird! But yippee....
