In Video Easy, I don't get the option to select composite or s-video when I try to import

Hi all,

When using Video Easy to import VHS, I am having difficulty getting any picture in the preview screen from my Grabster.

I have tried installing on a different pc and everything works okay, but on my own I have no luck.

The drivers for the grabster seem okay, and I all the latest, but the only differenc I can see is that I can't choose if the input should be S-Video or Composite. Can anyone tell me why this might be?

If video easy selects s-video by default then this would explain why I get no preview as my vhs has no s-video connection.

Thanks!!

Hi

Welcome to the forum

We need more information on your computer system -

What is the Windows version and is 32 bit or 64 bit?  If 64 bit then you need to download and install the 32bit driver for the Grabster

Which Grabster model do you have?

Come back with more information then we can advise you better

John

Hi,

Thanks for the response.

I'm using 64-Bit Windows 7 SP1, and it's a Grabster 450 mx. The driver I installed is the 64-bit one rather than the 32-bit. The other important bit of info to add is that when I go to the preview screen and then to advanced settings it does say that there is an input detected and it's producing 650 lines. I just don't see it!

Many thanks

Hi

Install the 32 bit driver as well - you should then have all the options to select the input.
