When I try to import a video clip on my hard drive to Video Easy Special Edition I receive an error message box stating: The file format of C.......MOV can not be read. These a hundreds of very short clips taken from an Apple I Phone. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium.

You did not say which version of video easy you are using, but the import spec for the current version (2014) is
Supported import formats
Video: AVI, DV-AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MTS, M2TS, MXV, QuickTime™, WMV(HD), H.264, AVCHD
Audio: WAV, MP3, WMA, Dolby®Digital Stereo
Images: JPEG, BMP
Note, .mov is not there. You may want to try converting your .mov files to something like MPEG-4 using something like the free version of "Any Video Converter" and see if it works any better.

ps. The other thing you may want to try first is to update your version of Quicktime to the latest version.
Thanks for the quick response!! The package is the Photo Ultimate 12. I will try converting and updating Quicktime. Thanks again for your help.
