When importing files from my Panasonic HDC-SD9 camcorder it takes forever.
I have 126 files (takes) on one card and 7 seconds of video is taking more than 40 seconds to load and I cant leave the computer.
The problem seems to be when the question asked not suitable for frame base editing convert or ignore if i go with the recommended convert it takes an age to mix down the file. I have calculated that I need to spend over 20 hours at the computer just to import the files then I can start to edit.
If this is progress I will stick to my old digital video
Is there anyway I can speed up this process?
