Hi. I am updating a web page and do not understand why imported .jpg images that appear on my Xara page don't show up online. I can't figure it out. I have looked to see if there is a "move forward" option but it only offers me a "move backward" option ...
Very bizarre ... and frustrating. Any help greatly appreciated.

Do you mean this is an Image gallery on the website and you cannot move forward through the images?
If so try a forced refresh of the web page in the browser by holding down the Ctrl key and press F5 key.
I am assuming the preview worked correctly within Web Designer on your computer.

Thanks for the reply. I am inserting a jpg (a new header) for my webpage, to appear on each page. It is one jpg being imported (insert-image-from file). It appears on the draft work page and has been saved to it. However, when I go to preview it online, there is nothing there ... only empty space. I’ve rebooted. I can’t figure it out. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the clarification.
After changing the image and using the built in Preview do all the other pages have the new image?
If so did you re-publish the site to your host?
Personally I export the website and then test it on my PC to ensure all changes are correct, before uploading to the host.

The image appears on all pages. But not in preview mode. Is it possible I have it pasted to other than the top layer? (How would I know?) Or is it possible I have pasted it outside the presentable area? I find it maddening.

Was this in Designer Pro or the export /published site?
Did you use the Replace photo option to change the image?
