Import PNG Blender Render animation to timeline in Video Pro X 6

EWD wrote on 6/11/2015, 7:20 PM

My first attempt at using Blender and Magix together. What I want to do - Take rendered animation files (Image sequence of PNGs) and insert to timeline. Problem Magix sees as merely pictures and applied default still frame display to all 240 frames. So I go to watch the animation and each frame is 7 seconds by default.  What I need is Video Pro X to6 to import the Image sequence without adjusting it to 7-second default. I need to set playback for the image sequence to run at  24 FPS in order for playback to be correct.

How?

Hi,

Either highlight all imported images and change the length to 00:00:01, or change the image import length in the program settings to it.

DHDP,

I've not got VPX here to check, but you should have a right click on object menu item to 'Change photo length...' with  with an option to set the photo length for the object, a range , or all:

Note: though the time value is labeled 'min', it is in fact min:sec:frames.

Of course you could more easily temporarily change the default setting ('File' >> 'Settings...' Program' >> 'Video/Audio' tab) for the default length when you do your import.
