Import Audio Cuts Wave File Short

I'm using Samplitude Music Studio 2023, and I can't seem to figure out why it consistently cuts off the last few seconds of my wav file when I import a mixed audio file to my Master. When I listen to the raw wav file, it's complete. Is there a setting that only allows a certain length to be imported?

@Dwayne-Stoltzfus Are you directly editing the audio file or are you dragging and dropping it into a project?

Is it a real WAV file or some kind of compressed audio file? Are the sample rate and bit rate correctly set up for your project?

I had mixed a voiceover audio project, exported it as a real WAV audio file, and then I imported into my Master CD project. I finally figured out what was happening . . . It's a bit complicated to explain, but after I had imported the mixed file, I then added an intro audio clip at the beginning of the mixed file and did another export with the same file name. When I tried importing this longer mixed file into my Master CD project, it used the cached audio file from the original import, which was a bit shorter. In other words, when I reimported the longer wav file, it used the shorter cached .H2 and .HDP files, thus cutting off the end of my longer wav file. Hopefully that makes sense for anyone else who runs into this issue. Thanks for reaching out!
