Hi,

it depends on the file. A lot of content you can directly download from the website (right mouse klick, save as), other you can capture with programms like Camtasia or Magix Movie Edit Pro. Third option is that you use a converter tool. There are several tools for free online/offline where you just put in the url and the tool converts and saves the video / audio file on the PC. Just serach for it on google.

Hi,

This probably boils down to a matter of sound driver and mixer settings, regardless whether it's XP or Vista. It's just that under Vista the whole thing seems to be a little more fiddly and confusing.

In the screen capturing dialog, make sure to pick your sound hardware under "audio driver". Bring up the Windows/sound card recording mixer for that hardware, e.g. by clicking on the "Volume control" button in the same capturing dialog. Make sure it is configured properly to record the audio that is coming from the streaming video and rendered audible by your sound card. This works a little different from sound driver to sound driver. With many drivers, you might have to pick exactly one recording input from a list of options. Pick the "stereo mix". If you're accidentally recording from the microphone or line-in socket, you won't have the audio that goes with the video on the resulting video file. With other drivers, you will just have to set the general recording volume, with the option to mute some inputs. So, in this case make sure the "stereo mix" is *not* muted.

I hope this helps.
