II did not think that the below question would pose that much of a problem to those who have knowledge of the Magix soft ware. I do not know of any other way of making the question simpler or more definitive. Please can someone shed some light?

I have NTSC ( north american) and PAL (Europe) format VHS tapes that I want to put onto DVDs.Will the MAGIX video rescue software be able to cope with both types. Please help before i start

RYVT should cope with both formats on the timeline - MEP is similar and copes well with PAL and NTSC in the same project.

Whatever is on the timeline will be converted where necessary into the format you choose for export or burning.

I also presume by your response that I should be OK to Buy the RYVT software.

The timeline is where the video clips are placed to edit the video you import/capture.

MEP is Movie Edit Pro.

RYVT is one of the few progammes for which there is not a trial version - due to the need of the USB converter which is included with the software.

Unfortunately I do not have my USB video converter dongle any more so I cannot test it with PAL and NTSC capturing.

i would suggest you contact sales at magix and ask them.
