When I load my photos into the photo pain to select a photo i cant see my actual photos just a blue box with a white mountain on it.
The only time I can see the photo is when I click on it . But only on the Left hand screen
In the older versions I could see all the photos so I could select and drop on the timeline.

Are you allowing enough time for the program to create the preview icons in the media pane, depending on the number of images this can take a while depending on the number of images in the folder.
Are you using the Photo Explorer view option?
