I do not think that Movie Edit Pro 14 is compatibile with Windows 7.

You can try this though... insert the disc for Movie Edit Pro 14 in the computer and close anything that auto-opens. You then will go to the "Start" button of windows, then click on computer. You will need to RIGHT mouse click the DVD ROM drive you have and browse the disc... find the setup.exe file and RIGHT click it to Run As Administrator. See if you can install that way.

If you can, then after the program has been installed, you will probably need to RIGHT mouse click the icon from desktop to Run As Administrator each time you use it.

If this does not allow the installation, then you would need to upgrade the program as it was released well before the release of Windows 7.

If Movie Edit Pro is something you use more than a few times, then I recommend getting the Movie Edit Pro 17.
