I put a video on my timeline

And after I put that video on there.... there is no sound playing. And the box that goes under the video that controls the volume is no where to be found.
Can someone please tell me what is wrong and how can I fix that?
I can see everything but I just can't hear it.

Hi,

It sounds like the audio track possibly cannot be imported since there's no suitable codec the program can use. To make any kind of specific statement as to how to rectify this, I'll need more information, though:

1.) Exactly what type of video file are you trying to import (file format/extension, video/audio codec used in the file)? Use the free codec analyzer GSpot on the file, if you have no idea where to find this information.

2.) Exactly what version of Movie Edit Pro are you using?
