I purchased the soundpool 18 dvd collection and it came with music maker silver i already purchased MX which is the latest version

You want to keep MX and delete Silver. MX is the latest full blown version. Silver is likely a stripped down "trial" version since it is often available for free buy buying other products (magazines, etc.). Hopefully you haven't caused any interference issues by installing Silver.
