I need some help with adding/deleting background music in slide show

Kenneth-Collenborne wrote on 8/10/2018, 1:07 PM

I am using Magix photostory deluxe and I have a slide show completed with photos but don't know how to add and delete music. Been messing with it and now have two songs playing at the same time. I would like to delete these and add new. Also want to add different music to different parts of slide show. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi

. . . . don't know how to add and delete music . . . .

Ensure you are in Timeline mode - if the music you want to use is provided with Photostory then drag it from the music media pool to the timeline below the video/images.

If it is other music and is in a supported format eg wav, mp3, drop it onto the timeline the same way as you did for the images from the Media pool where you have to option to browse Computer, Music etc.

@Douglas-Durham

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Make sure you are in Timeline view. The music will be displayed as one or more of the tracks on the screen; simply delete the contents of those tracks to remove all or whatever part of the music you wish to.

Yes, highlight the unwanted track and hit Del on your keyboard. If you have two or more tracks scroll down until you find the one you want to delete. Here I have 3 music tracks I have left clicked and highlight the one to be removed, next I will hit the delete button to remove it.

To see all your music and video tracks you may need to click the expand tracks icon. It looks a bit like a cross, this expands or shrinks the amount of tracks you see.
