How is the camera connected to your computer?
If it is firewire, turn the camera off and back on again.
You should hear a little "bink" of the computer recognizing the camera and loading driver for it.  YOu should also see a loading drivers message in the lower right hand side of the screen.

If these things happen, MEP should recognize your camera.
