Hi,

Just so you know, no one here works for Magix, this is a user forum,  so we cannot do anything about your request.  If you have your original invoice, you may want to try contacting Magix sales to see if they can help you with the product key.  If I were you, I would call them rather than email.

Hi

Your registered product serial numbers are available on the Magix.com website.

On the website click the My Account link top right of the home page.

Login with the username and password you use.

On the next screen select My Products from the left side you will then be taken to your pregistered products page.

However Movies on CD & DVD 5 is an old version, released in 2006, and is not designed to work with Windows 8. It may work with Windows 7 - though this is not guaranteed.

if your new PC is running Windows 8 then, even though you may be able to install the software, then you will find that some functions may not work and the program will almost certainly not be able to locate your CD/DVD drive,

I would suggest you upgrade to the latest version in this case.

HTH

John
