Hmm, a little more context might be required to understand this problem. Just with the information above, I'd suggest the following: Make sure when you're in the disc-burning stage of the program that you actually go to burn a standard video DVD (for your PC). Don't pick any of the other formats that might be offered. You need to have an output format that encodes the slide show into full motion video material to have all the bells and whistles in there. There might be disc options for the PC that don't really accomplish the same thing.

Btw, if you're worried about being able to play this back on a PC, you will still be able to do so with a standard video DVD, via a suitable DVD-playing software. It's a pretty versatile format.
