Hi Guys,

I am trying to record a song for my wife on our wedding anniversary and I have latency issues and delays through the mic. I have installed asio4all but when I use this on my Magix studio, the mic doesn't seem to work. Well it doesnt record into Magix.

I have this awful realtek HD soundcard which doesnt help. If I record the mic into the 'line in' port rather than the 'mic' port then it is fine, but it comes out mono into 1 ear which is also no good. Pleeeeease help.

Blessings

Rob

Hi,

You should be able to duplicate the mono track, then using say the mixer slightly alte each track to create a simulated stereo sound.

Good Luck

Hi

. . . . If I record the mic into the 'line in' port rather than the 'mic' port then it is fine, but it comes out mono into 1 ear which is also no good. . . . .

That sounds like the mike has a higher output level than normal is this a combination  USB / 3.5mm jack microphone.

If the line in quality is OK then use this and see this post and Nihon69's answer - this explains the mono, then follow the link in my answer to an easy way round this the getting it to stereo problem.
