What kind if video material are you importing into the program and where does it come from? If this is video material that allows for different audio codecs (e.g. AVI files), make sure you know what codec is being used and that it is installed on your system. If you're dealing with any format with Dolby Digital/AC3 audio (e.g. a lot of MPEG-2 material and some MPEG-4 material), Movie Edit Pro does provide its own decoding routines, but you need to make sure you activated the Dolby Digital Stereo decoder for this to work properly (e.g. "Help" menu => "Activate additional functions").
