I have a licensed version of Magix Music Maker 14.  I would like to install the same (or very similar)  program on a newer computer with Windows 7 OS.  How can I find the most similar available version?

I do not want the newest version because the learning curve will almost certainly be far too stteep for me.  The program I have does everything I want it to, and I understand how to use it.

What is the most similar version that is still available for sale through Magix?

I'm sorry your question has sat here so long with noone helping you :(

In regard to the Magix programs themself, you will find an inherent similarity amongst them where you quite literally will go "Oh look, they added this thing that makes that easier..." and yada yada yada.

But from what I have noticed, the differences (that most would notice) are mostly graphical differences. An option in a more accessible area, additional synths available (in premium editions), better performance and overrall system usage, as well as most probably security updates and enhancements to the program itself.

If you're a gamer, think of it like this......

First, they had Medal of Honor Frontline...

Out come Call of Duty (same developer with same format different platform, way better!)

Then they made Modern Warfare.... Modern warfare 2.... Black Ops..... Black Ops 2.....

You won't be dissapointed.

And not to mention Magix will refund your money if there is any issues. Or you could just purchase another liscence for the one you have.

Use the file you used to install it on the PC you currently use it on, but on the new PC and purchase a liscence from the new PC.
