I guess I closed my storybook window cause its blank. How do i get it back and also the player window gone also.

Click "Window" at the top. You'll see options "Program Monitor" "Media Pool" and "Project." These functions control your interface windows.
Movie Edit has excellent interface options because you can resize the respective windows to suit your needs. Even when you use Alt + Enter to make the video monitor full screen you can still drag it smaller to view the timeline at the bottom or the effects at the top. Very user friendly.
