I got Blue Screen with error in EMBDA64.SYS

Video easy Rescue Your Video Tapes 7 and installed on my Medion with Window 7

The software appeared to install correctly. I connected the USB device Video Grabber 4 and it also appeared to install correctly. However, when I capture and after a time I got Blue Screen with error in EMBDA64.SYS  I am pretty sure the problem is with the USB drivers.

I have deleted the MS Window security update XXXXXXXXXXXXXX614 as suggested by Magix somewhere.

My Windows 7 64 bit home edition is up-to-date with service packs and uddates.

If anyone has solved a similar problem, I would really appreciate some help with this.

Hi

The EMBDA64.SYS is a Windows system file.  Has a Windows 7 update been installed since you last used the USB device?

Follow the instructions here to perform a system file check on Windows - read the instructions fully before doing this.  This will checl all the Windows files for problems and fix them if it can when any are found.

HTH

John
