Could you be a little more specific?

Which version of MMM are you using?

When you say "distortion", do you mean a clipping type of distortion, or is the playback hanging up like it's skipping?

We need more info about your computer like CPU speed, amount of RAM memory, what is the operating system you're using, etc.

As Procyon said, we'll need some further information.

What I can imagine is, that you put the volume of some instruments way too high. If some instruments reach the red area in your volume level, they will sound a bit distorted.

Try to pull down the volume of the tracks. This may help

Hi,
You need to change your sound card, this is a common problem with the Creative line. Get a good external interface and forget the home user PC sound card, they're not capable of pro audio. You're exceeding it's capacity.

Depending on whether you have Firewire or just USB, there are many interfaces out there for not a lot of money.

NT - Just so I understand exactly what you are saying....

Are you saying there is a limit on how many instruments or tracks these Creative sound cards are able to play from the MMM arranger alone?

Or , do you mean that includes external instruments being fed into the sound card?

Thanks
