I can se it , I can hear it but I can't use drag and drop.

When I choose Plugins / VSTi I can select EZdrummer, the drums acting as it should, and when I click on different drums comes sound, and when I use Open Groves can I choose a pattern and hear it, but when I try to pull it up to a track, nothing happens.

Have you selcted and opened the track first and prepaared it to Record ?

I think that's what I did, there is a red spot on the selected track, and then I followed the above description, but is there  a place where I should change a setting.

Instead of drag and drop, try prepping the track, you should see a red indicator showing trak is ready to record, then when you find a drum sound you like, double click on it and see if the track starts recording your selection

A double click activate the selected sound, but there will not be recorded, a further double-click turn off the sound.

Do you "see" the sound on a VU meter ?...little bars moving up and down with the volume of the music, or do you just hear it ?  If the bars are moving up and down, then you are "recording" the music somewhere...if its not on a track you have conditioned properly, then I wuld have to say the track is not conditioned properly.  If you can't "see' the sound at all, then this is your first problem....you have to see it and hear it.  This is Midi stuff you ae working with.

You're right I can see the VU meter, but have not recorded anything I've also tried the built VSTi without success. I can not find a description of how I put the track up to record VSTi, audio signals goes nicely into the track.

I think that if you go to the Help files included with the program and start looking at the VST entries, you will see how to go about what yu are trying to do.  I don't think  I should have to type out a Help page, not knowing what version and language yurs is
