If I can try help out on this, I found a way to possibly change the image for uploaded music... It is below your Media posting/upload, there is a bar with buttons/options just below it and if you click on the "More" option, a menu comes up with "Change Medium Information".
 
This takes you to the page where you can upload a Cover for the Media.
