How to upload or import a wave file from my hard drive but not fom a CD into Music Maker 17 so that I can edit it?

I never used any sound editing software before. Music Maker 17 is my first encounter with a sound editing software.

1) Problem: I recorded my piano playing using a hand held recorder and saved it as a wave file onto my hard drive. Even after looking through the manual, I still cannot figure out how to upload or import this wave file (or even a mp3 file) on my hard drive onto Music Maker 17.

2) I'm using a PC, AMD, Windows 7 laptop.

I contacted tech support but haven't heard back from them. Please help me if you know the answer. Thank you so much!

I use MMM 16 Premium and I think the procedure will be same also in the MMM 17.

Please try as follows about your problem.

1. Click on File Manager refer screen shot

Then browse where you have saved your recorded wave file. When you foind drag and drop on arranger(space where we put audio).  Note: in Music Maker we can not open Music Files(wave, mp3 ogg etc) we have to use File Manger browse then drag and drop. But we can only open Music Maker's  saved project(mmm) or Back up files(Bak)

For other helpful hints you might need later please check pdf tutorial with images and text.
