How to transfer from DV cam to laptop through GRABBY?

I only have a laptop and it has no firewire port. I bought a GRABBY and connected my cam through the S-video port. I dont find out how to transfer my DV tapes to my computer this way? How do i "tell" the software to import through the s-port?

If your laptop has an opening for Express Card/Cardbus, you can buy a FW-card for that.
