Hi,

it is true, you have a "template" backround that you use to design the general look of your website. So if you go in the section "backround" it is always for all pages.
But: If you leave this backround section, you can always put an individual design (photo, or what ever) over the general backround, means even if you have a colored backround in general, you can put a white field over it on a single site.
This is a good way to use a general backround maybe on 2 or 3 pages and give the rest an individual feeling. Another way is of course to leave the backround section in general white and to do an individual design for every single page. You have just to make sure that the design that you use for the backround direct on the page, has the "last position" of all elements on this site.
