How to request editing feature change?

Most editors that have a "speed" effect, give a lot more adjustment, than "4x". I have to export a clip with 4x speed and then bring that clip back to the timeline and give it another 4x.... and sometimes again. Can this effect feature me modernized with lets say... a range at least to 100x? Really.... This needs to be upgraded. Please?????!!!!!!

No need for changes... When using the "speed" effect you can enter the figures manually which allows a speed much higher than 4x.

Thank you. I will try that. Seems I tried forcing it by entering the number many months ago and it popped back to 4x. I will try it again.

oh... It does work. 😋 My error last time I tried was not letting it delete the audio. Thanks!

You do not need to delete the audio but just ungroup it as it is sometimes useful to shorten it and retain some atmos and/or to do some timestretching (compressing actually) on it.

Yes... I understand this. I noticed today, that the audio behaves quite differently, depending on how I change the speed. If I am staying 4x and below, it used to be, before the update, that if I just gave it a speed change with no keyframe, that the audio was totally unusable. It sounded like machine distortion, but if I put one keyframe at the beginning of the clip, the audio was clear, just a higher or lower pitch as it changed speed. But now with this latest update, there is more. If I do not use a keyframe, the audio is compressed in time, but the pitch of the audio stays the same - meaning, my voice still sounds like me, but it is faster or slower, whereas, making a speed change with a keyframe, or many, the pitch follows the speed change. Both results have their place. So... it was nice to learn and find this out. This gives me lots of versatility. One more thing learned. :) Now... to figure out how to get a check mark as a bullet in the titler. I wonder if this program can do it?
