How to put animated graphics onto slideshow

I saw the sample slideshow and wanted to know how a person can upload those animated graphics into the slideshow. The one I am talking about is the sample slideshow in Photostory on cd & dvd deluxe. The opening of the slideshow shows a cartoon-like airplane cruising across the screen. I want to know how to do these things!

That was pre-made by Magix for us to use in the project.

You would need an animation software to actually build one of those, which would be pretty intense I would think.
