How to properly batch mxv video to mpeg-4

When I batch a video to a mpeg-4 file, how can I then transfer that mpeg-4 file to another device. Specifically, I'm trying to convert a mxv movie to a mpeg-4 file so I can upload it to my Ipod Nano.. and suggestions????"

Hi,

You want to "batch" the file? Do you mean you want to batch convert files? Doesn't even sound like you need batch processing here, since you only seem to be talking about one single file.

Anway, you will have to go via the MPEG-4 export option that you can find under the "File" menu => "Export movie" sub menu. Make sure that all the MPEG-4 encoder settings are suitable for you iPod Nano. There are a few presets for different iPod models in the list, but you might have to doublecheck that the export format is suitable for your device. Check the documentation of your iPod. You can fully customize the MPEG-4 export settings, if needed.
