How to load a .gig file into plugin manager in Acid Pro 7

I am having trouble loading a a plugin VST that is a ".gig file" into the plugin manager in Acid Pro 7. How do I do it? I'm in Windows 7 in a Lenovo laptop

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

According to this page a .gig file is actually an audio sample file designed originally to work with the Tascam Gigasampler and Gigastudio. As such, it is clearly not a VST Effect but rather a proprietary type of VST Instrument (VSTi) file. As such I think it highly unlikely it would work in Acid.
