hi,
I downloaded the trial version of MAGIX Music Maker 15 and I've done a composition on it using MIDI objects and recordings using the inbuilt mic on my laptop. When I export the file as mp3 or as Windows Media Audio, the MIDI objects can't be heard! What can I do? I need to put the composition on a CD.
Any advice much appreciated!
Also, I really know NOTHING about music technology so if you could please dumb it right down for me! thanks so much

Hi,

Normaly you get a message saying you have to convert MIDI in Wav. The method consist in replacing MIDI by its Wav record.

.Mute all tracks except MIDI object tracks.
.Depending on your sound card, select for recording input : "MIDI" or "What you listen"
. Define the segment (beginning, end) where you have MIDI to record
. Record  (red point) and define a wav file name where the played MIDI will be recorded and stored.

A track containing a Wav file of the played MIDI will be created.

Mute the MIDI track, the new recorded Wav track replacing it.
Enable the recorded voice track and mix them.

Note : use the on line help
