how to cut & edit a scene

Hi there,

I have Movie Edit 15 program, i have this scene but i only want a little bit of the recording from it.

How would i cut what i dont need, without cuting out the whole scene?
its hard to explain sorry, anyone that could help me would appreciate it very much.

Jade, highlight the particular scene and go to pages 33/34 of the manual. Find the spot where you want to make the split. Hit + to expand the scene if necessary. Decide if the part you want to delete is before or after the position marker. Expand the razor blade icon options, choose the before or after option and you are done, cheers Theo

Hi Johnsonjade.

If in the Edit window, choose timeline modus, then move the vertical marker to the start of the section you want, and press T. Repeat the process at the end. Very easy way to do it. Just a tip.
