How to change text into shapes

Please. Is it possible to convert text into shapes? I tried grouping, but the program still thinks it's text.

Select the text you wish to convert into shapes > Arrange > Create Bitmap Copy.

Ensure "True Colour + Alpha" is selected. Choose the resolution via "Select your Bitmap Size", Click Create.
